I'm doing pretty good with my script challenge, I must say. The freelance story analyst gig has kept me busy, and I've managed to squeeze in 4 episodes of the show I'm spec'ing. This morning, I read the Oscar-nominated script, "The Messenger." I literally FLEW through the read. It was engaging, efficient and an amazing read.
I will grant that the reading, while a necessary component of writing, feels a bit like procrastination. I wonder if other writers feel the same.
