Scripped TV

Here's an interesting competition I discovered for those with original TV pilots with no home. Storyboard TV. I don't know anything about the contest beyond just the basic facts of it, so if any of you have entered before or enter this year, definitely let us know how it pans out for you.

Perks: Low entry fee
Prize: Top 10 get industry feedback / Top 3 get staged readings in NYC / Top 1 gets a $5000 option

Possible pitfall: If you have a great pilot spec and haven't had anyone (ie: agents, managers, someone who could help get it into the right hands) read it yet, you'd be entering a contest where someone is getting the rights to your project and you're capped with the $5000 if you win. BUT, if you don't have that Hollywood connection and are writing from your Mom's basement in, say, Cow Country, Michigan, this might be a way to get your name seen and your foot in the door. Just do your research!

Good luck!
